LAWS OF THE LAND


1. THE SOVEREIGN'S WORD IS LAW. Equines that make up the Sovereign's council (i.e. the Jarls and Regent) will also have a say in matters, but the final decision ultimately rests upon the Sovereign's shoulders.

2. Joining the Ambrosius House is easy. Current members of Ambrosius are allowed to extend invitations to Nonpartisans, though they must bring the newest recruit to the Sovereign(s) or Regent. Jarls may also accept new members of Ambrosius if they are to reside within their barony.

3. Ranks are based upon merit. Higher ranks must be earned and are given to those that the Sovereign trusts to have Ambrosius's best interests at heart. Other (lower) ranks, such as Kingsmen, may be requested. More ranks may be added if a need arises or at the Sovereign's discretion.

4. The Sovereign or those within a higher rank reserve the right to enter any thread within Ambrosius borders.

5. Currently, the borders are OPEN but have a heavy guard presence. Nonpartisans are welcome, as long as they do not cause any problems or commit any crimes.

6. Jarls may make their own rules within their baronies, but ultimately answer to the Sovereign.

7. Crimes commited against those within the Ambrosius House will result in a variety of reactions; punishment, banishment, or in extreme circumstances...Exile. The Sovereign and their Council may mete out justice. The Sovereign will reward anyone who brings a criminal back to Ambrosius for punishment or gives information to a criminal's whereabouts.
